So Many Adventures I'm nearly pooped

They're here Andy and Jenny Yahoo, My Favourite!!

They arrived just when they said they would, and I did manage to squeeze in the car and meet them at the airport. Going to the airport is my Favourite because it means new friends are coming to see me!!!

Exploring new beaches, My Favourite!!

Three days and three adventures, My Favourite!! The day Andy and Jenny arrived I took them to down to the water front in Es Castell. It's a place I love to go to, to while away a few hours people and boat watching and I got to sit between them in the car, My Favourite!!

The next day we all went for a walk, My Favourite!! into Mahon to do a little shopping! The walking I like, the chomping of biscuits while they have a coffee I like but waiting outside shops!! Not my Favourite!!

Beach combing, a new beach and a new adventure!!

The next day I told them I'd take them to a wonderful spot on Menorca's north coast, Cala Pregonda but when we arrived ... Shock... the car park was so full I thought we'd better go elsewhere. So having walked all this area a few times before I decided to take them to a new out of the way beach. What a change it was near deserted, with only two other people on it. An empty golden sandy beach, warm calm waters and Andy & Jenny ... what could be better, My Favourite!!

We had a great day out running across the sand chasing sticks, splashing about in the water chasing sticks, clambering over the rocks, chasing sticks.... I was in heaven :-)

I Can't think of a better way to cool off after chasing sticks, My Favourite!!

Today I took them to Es Grau. As I said before Es Grau is a wonderful place. It's great for walking, My Favourite!! Great for swimming, My Favourite!! and great for exploring.. yup you've guessed it, My Favourite!!

The little beach we normally go to had been washed away :-( but we found another rocky beach to explore, My Favourite!! We spent the whole afternoon there clambering over the rocks, cooling off in the sea, chasing sticks, cooling off in the sea, laying out in the sun, cooling off in the sea :-) you get the picture, all in all a great adventure, My Favourite!!

Yipeeeeee Great news

I'm so excited I can hardly contain myself.

I've just overheard a phone call to Andy my best [human] pall, guess what he and Jenny are coming over to visit again Yahooooooo I can't wait, I won't sleep till next Tuesday the day they are due.

Another wet n wild adventure, My Favourite!!

Two minutes down the road from where we live a lovely little inlet called Cala Estaban. I've been a couple of times before and usually get told off for barking at the ducks and hens ...

But I now make sure I'm on my best behaviour, especially now I've found a great place to splash about in the water, My Favourite!!

There isn't a beach but you can easily get in the water from the low rocks along the Cala. Getting out is easy too as some kind folk have put steps in to help you get out. Cala Estaban is a very quiet sleepy hamlet at the mouth of the port of Mahon, a great place to spend a lazy day swimming, snorkeling or just messing around in the water ... a bit like I do :-)

Oh My, lovely water, My Favourite!!

I just love splashing about in the lovely warm Mediterranean and Menorca has lots of places ideal for a swim or a splash :-)

Go on then get in, you know you'll love it :-)

Cala Estaban is a great place for pups, lots of places to explore, lots of rocks to scramble over, lots of rocky pools to splash around in and a calm deep inlet for swimming. All my favourites :-)

After all that excitement what's better than laying in the sun drying off and watching the world go by

August in Menorca time to do .... nothing

I've realised that August in Menorca is fit
only for doing ........ not much :-)

Hi everyone, well guess what we have moved again!! The last place was only temporary they told me, I quite liked it, lots going on and I could stand on the chair and look through the window at everyone walking past :-)

But ..... the new house is soooo much better. We have a front terrace where I can sit and watch the world go by. We have a large side terrace where I can run around and play with all my toys My Favourite!! and a lovely garden, although I'm not allowed in there by myself because I like to dig holes :-(

Even though Adventures are my all time favourite!! I realise August is not the time for long walks and running around. Don't get me wrong I still love to get out on Adventures, My Favourite!! and we do, only now we go late afternoon or in the evening, walk very slow and don't go far.

Lounging round the pool, it's too hot to do anything else.

They who must be obeyed love to go for a swim in the pool, I'm not keen, I'd much prefer to go to the beach or down to Cala Estaban where I can swim in the sea.

I'll be looking out for you so wave when you pass:-)

So be told! Just lazing around on a hot afternoon in Menorca, it's very taxing so I might have to have a rest afterwards :-)

Fiesta! My favourite ......Maybe

It's Fiesta time around these parts....

.... and by eck it ain't half busy. Last night we had a walk, My Favourite!! down along the harbour and around the town. In the Esplanada there's a feast <-Spanish/Yorkshire for fairground :-) All the lights were flashing, hooters hooting and loads of people having a great time. Also a band was playing to a large audience. I don't really see what all the fuss is about, but I guess they have to have some fun :-)

This morning the noise was getting a little on the loud side so he suggest we go for a little adventure, My Favourite. I was sat at the door before he had finished the sentence :-) :-)

What a view, but a bit high to jump in for a swim.

We walked along the cliff top almost into Mahon. It's a great walk and the views are fantastic. There was a lovely cooling breeze so it was not too hot even though the sun was very strong.

Two adventures in one day, wow, double favourite!!

Later on in the afternoon we had another Adventure, My Favourite!! down to a place called Cala Esteban. I've been here, sort of once before when we walked to S'Algar more info here. I remember I got told of for barking at the ducks :-( We didn't go the same route, today we walked along the Cala. What a lovely peaceful place it is, mind you I had to be on my best behaviour what with the ducks, and, it's over run with chickens!!

We walked right along the rocks as far as we could go, I would have loved to have been able to get in the water for a dip but it was too rough.

On the way back we went down to where the boats are moored in the Cala. The sea was calm, the water inviting so guess what?? I just had to go in. Ooooooo lovely and cooling, even 'He who must be obeyed' came in for a dip too :-)

No photos though, he didn't take his camera out this time, but I'm sure we'll go again as it's now one of my favourites.

Adventures, My Favourite!! with Uncle Bill

Oh dear Uncle bill has gone home :-( he was such a great friend. I took him on a few of my favourite Adventures around Menorca My Favourite!!

The first one was the walk through Menorca's wild life park Es Grau it's so peaceful if you go late in the afternoon the path is shady and the lakes are alive with fish and ducks, I even spotted a heron!! but was told very sternly not to even think about chasing it, as if I would :-)

I just love having a good run chasing sticks and I think uncle Bill new that cos he was always up for a bit of stick throwing, My Favourite!!

Cone on I'm sat patiently, very patiently!!

Well if you won't I will :-)

After the walk through the park we followed the Cami de Cavalls along the coast to a very small beach I know of, I just love having the chance for a dip in the cool sea. After the the walk in the hot sunshine it's so relaxing.

Oooooo cooling off My Favourite!!

Every afternoon Uncle Bill would go down to a little cafe by the sea, I always went too, My Favourite!! You always get a small yummy biscuit with your coffee, Me and Uncle Bill liked them so much he bought a packet for us to share, Yum Yum. He said I shouldn't really have them but, as he was on holiday ...... ;-)

Next I took him on another of my favourites Calas Coves. I just love the walk over there, I know I keep going on about it but for me it's heaven, everything a pup could want in a walk. Long paths to run and run, always new places to sniff out, rocks to climb, caves to explore and always time for a cooling dip.... heaven.

Come on it's time for a swim, My Favourite!!

Right I'm cool, time for a run!

We still go to the little cafe down on the waters edge and I sometimes get the biscuit, I'll keep your seat safe until next time uncle Bill.

Just one more mention, uncle Maurice. We don't go on adventures but he feeds me chips and then tells me I'll get fat Ha Ha me fat!! that'll be the day :-)
