Well bless me a new Adventure!
Today I had a great new adventure. I wondered what was going on as we were up early for a Sunday, into the car and off to our local village Sant Clement. Walking up the main street I noticed a lot of other dogs, cats horses and even a girl riding a donkey!!Here I am waiting for the priest

Did you know, I didn't, that in the Catholic religion, we have our very own patron saint, Saint Anthony Abbot, whose official feast day is on January the 17th. On this day churches all around Menorca hold a “Blessing of the Animals.”
Meeting new friends My Favourite!

As we arrived at the church square I was amazed at the number of people all with their pets! I had no idea what was happening. Cats and dogs, horses and donkeys, even sheep and snakes all waiting to be blessed :-)
Oi what's with the water??

I'll forgive you as long as I get a pat on the head.

It was all very nice, lots of people and their pets mingling and chatting. I even met Meg and Sue who I haven't seen for ages, it's about time we went for another adventure with them.
After the 'Blessing' we all went for a walk, My Favourite! up to Es Grau on the north east coast on Menorca. I've been several times but always enjoy the run along the beach and then up and over the rocky headland.
If you like walking, the Es Grau area of Menorca is great.
