Evening Walking at Es Grau Menorca
Es Grau is one of my favourite evening walks, lot's of room to run about, lakes to swim in and long grass to bound about in, I love it! ... but do get told off for chasing the ducks!!The Albufera de Es Grau is a nature reserve with lovely pathways alongside the lakes and through the woodland. It's not too taxing, I could run around it several times but my owners ......
This photo is of me and my latest friend Cameron.
Evenings are the best time to go when the intense heat has subsided a little and the calm breeze ripples the lakes. After the walk we always go to the beach side cafe for a cooling drink and sometimes a bite to eat, relaxing and watching the sun setting is bliss.
If you fancy walking in the Es Grau area of Menorca, a guide and maps can be found on Menorca the Guide along with other walks.

Well this is different LOL but I must admit I do love the walking in Menorca especially in April and may before I gets too hot.
The Es Grau area is great for walking and if you head north there are miles of pathways to discover. Another area is the south east corner, Es Castell, Sant Louis area, lots of very quiet roads to explore.
One question where can I get my hands on maps of the newly opened coast pathway??
Thank you Sally I hope to read more and of some places I haven't tried, I'll look you up next year maybe you can show me a few new walks.
