My Adventure on Menorca's Gold coast
Christmas day adventure, a walk along the beach
My Favourite!
My Favourite!
Well Christmas has come and gone, as it was my first I wasn't sure what to expect. ?Why wrap my treats and new toys in paper, I ask? but it was fun ripping the paper off wondering what was inside :-)
But the best present was another walking adventure in Menorca, My Favourite! After the "ripping open of the parcels" on Christmas day we set off to the north of Menorca to a beach I hadn't been to before.
I love it in the Menorcan countryside.

Playa de Cavalleria is a fantastic beach, and on our visit was near deserted I could run and run along the beach, chase after sticks and up the cliffs. The beach is a long swath of Golden sand, the same colour as Cala Pregonda which I went to with my friends a couple of weeks ago.
Chasing sticks My Favourite!

We didn't walk too far this time as it's only a short way from the carpark along the road to where you find a track heading through the countryside, and onto the beach. The landscape in the north of Menorca is very different to the south, no deep barrancs, no limestone cliffs. The north is all shale and red sandstone making the coast very rocky and rugged looking.
I can't wait any longer, enough training for now.

Oh yes and as usual I had a telling off :-( how was I to know you only rip open your own presents!!!!!
If you fancy walking one of Menorca's Gold coast beaches.
